Leon, the modern electronic musician, was born May of '88 in the Hague, Netherlands. It all started with pots and pans, then it moved onto spoons and tables. His mother played the violin in the residential orchestra and being six years old at the time, he decided to also play the violin. Two years later he started taking piano lessons. It soon became evident that the piano was Leon's prefered instrument. He started with a pure classical teacher, and simply hated it, all the strictness and the boringness of classical music. Then, when he got a new teacher, a jazz teacher, a whole new world opened up. His father, who also makes music, although its not his profession, plays double bass, electric bass, piano, and a bit of drums. Having a drumset in the house meant many long funky jam sessions with Leon and his dad. Later on, when Leon discovered Fruityloops, a music production program, its was like an addiction. He just kept on making tracks and experimenting with all the options. Currently, Leon is actively making music, checking for new samples, finding the right beats, breaks, sounds, and anything that sounds cool as he says.
